The company was founded in 1969 by Giuseppe Chiavari, father of the current Director Fabio, who has worked since before his 20 years in an artisanal joinery. His passion for wood and strong motivation for personal and professional growth, along with the expertise in working all materials with both artisanal and industrial ability, lead him to open in a 360sf what has become today the 12000sf headquarter and production facility of Chiavari. Widely appreciated for the excellent quality of its products, the company during the 70’s has become a leader in the production of bespoke interiors for bank offices in Umbria and Lazio.
1980 marks the start of an important partnership with Knoll International for which Chiavari produced all the bespoke interiors in their projects for banks and corporate offices both in Italy and abroad. Chiavari’s quality was then internationally recognized, leading to the first projects in the retail sector mostly in Germany from the 80’s.

Today, we export our products to various countries: USA, UK, Iraq, Azerbaijan, Russia, France, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Spain, Japan, for residential, retail (Cucinelli, Bulgari, Loriblu, Zanotti...), hospitality, yachts and other projects. In 50 years of experience, Chiavari has collaborated with excellent Italian manufacturers who are now our partners. Working with us means to find our passion and attention to detail in all of them.
